The rollercoaster game that was capped off with a bitter ending, saw the Edmonton Oilers score. It was emoriding for them when they went cold and behind 0-4 in the second quarter. Connor McDavid scored a goal that stunned the world and got Edgarals back into the game by making it 5-5 with a minute and a half to spare. This turned the tides of the game and gave the Oilers a glimmer of hope. Phillip Danault however scored the cinching goal for the Kings, solidifying their 6-5 win.
The dismal performance only added fuel to the fire for the Oilers who revealed their strength during this game. Hyman Zach was on fire along with Draisaitl Leon, Perry Corey and Janmark Mattias as they were rightly pured to gold. With 24 additional ticks on the clock given to him Skinner also went gung-ho and became one of Edmontons most admired players in this match.
