Police Seek Public Assistance to Identify Vehicle in Hit-and-Run Collision
Edmonton, June 19, 2026: The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is asking for the public’s help in identifying a driver and vehicle involved in a serious hit-and-run collision that occurred in late May.
According to police, officers responded to a report of a collision involving a pedestrian near 99 Avenue and 103 Street at approximately 3:56 a.m. on May 25, 2026. The driver fled the scene before emergency responders arrived.
The 31-year-old male pedestrian sustained serious, life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for treatment.
Investigators believe the suspect vehicle is a light-coloured Ford Explorer with noticeable front-end damage. The vehicle was last seen travelling northbound on 103 Street immediately after the collision.
The EPS Major Collision Investigations Section (MCIS) is continuing to investigate the incident and is urging anyone who may recognize the vehicle, have information about the driver, or possess dashcam footage from the area to come forward.
