Canada’s 20th Annual Maha Jagran Rescheduled to June 19 in Edmonton
Edmonton, Canada: Organizers have announced that the highly anticipated 20th Annual Maha Jagran in Edmonton has been rescheduled due to weather concerns and the possibility of rainfall. The event will now take place on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 8:30 p.m.
The grand devotional gathering will be held at the BCSA Hindu Temple and is expected to attract hundreds of devotees from across the region. The decision to change the date was made to ensure the safety and comfort of attendees.
Adding to the spiritual atmosphere, Indian Idol fame singer Vineet Singh and renowned devotional singer Kavita Paudwal will perform live, offering an evening filled with bhajans and devotional music dedicated to Maa Durga.
