Edmonton, Alberta: The Mill Woods Residents’ Council (MWPC) is gearing up to host one of Edmonton’s largest community Canada Day celebrations on July 1, 2026, at Mill Woods Park.
The event will run from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM and promises a full day of family-friendly entertainment, cultural performances, live music, food vendors, and fireworks.
Organizers say the celebration will feature:
- Cultural dance performances
- Live music and artisan market
- Food truck vendors
- Children’s activities from 2 PM to 6 PM
- Spectacular fireworks display at 11 PM
The event will take place at Mill Woods Park, 23 Avenue & 66 Street, Edmonton.
Residents are also encouraged to support the community by bringing a non-perishable food item for donation to the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul (SSVP) Food Bank.
