21-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies in Fatal Edmonton Collision

Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is investigating a fatal collision that occurred Wednesday evening, August 19, 2026, near 34 Street and 64 Avenue.

Police responded at approximately 8:28 p.m. after a motorcycle collided with the rear of a 2017 Land Rover Range Rover. The Range Rover was travelling southbound on 34 Street and attempting to turn eastbound onto 64 Avenue when the collision occurred.

The 21-year-old male motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.

The 44-year-old female driver of the Range Rover and her two passengers remained at the scene and did not report any injuries.

EPS Major Collision Investigations Section (MCIS) is leading the investigation. Speed is believed to have been a factor.
