Man charged with sexual assault of a minor

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) has charged a man in the sexual assault of a minor, and detectives believe there may be other victims who have yet to come forward.

On Jun. 2, 2026, Brian Brook Kaskamin, 30 was arrested and charged with sexual assault of a minor, sexual interference and administering a noxious substance.
Kaskamin was released with conditions not to have contact with anyone under 16 years of age.

He is known to use Grindr to meet minors, and often hosts vulnerable youth from the community at his residence in northeast Edmonton.

As such, investigators believe there may be additional individuals who have not yet come forward, and are asking them to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone. Anonymous information may also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.p3tips.com/250.
