| June 4, 2026Construction continues on the St. Albert Trail to 97 Street segment of the Yellowhead Trail Conversion. Beginning Friday, June 5 at 10 p.m., Yellowhead Trail will be reduced to one lane eastbound near 107 Street. The lane reduction will remain in place until Monday, June 8 at 6 a.m., weather-dependent. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead for traffic delays. Additional restrictions on 107 Street will remain in place through July. During this time:The right turn from northbound 107 Street to eastbound Yellowhead Trail remains closed.The left turn from northbound 107 Street to westbound Yellowhead Trail is reduced to a single lane.These traffic restrictions are required to support construction activities on the St. Albert Trail to 97 Street segment of the Yellowhead Trail Freeway Conversion Program. Motorists travelling through the area are encouraged to allow extra travel time, plan ahead using edmonton.ca/TrafficDisruptions and follow all posted signage.
