Mela Saun Da’ to Bring Punjabi Culture, Music and Entertainment to Edmonton
Edmonton: The vibrant Punjabi community in Edmonton is all set to celebrate ‘Mela Saun Da’, a special event featuring Punjabi music, dance and cultural entertainment.
Organized by Asian Tribune and DJ Preet, the event will take place today, Sunday, August 9, 2026, at PCAE Community Hall, from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
The event will feature Bhangra, Giddha, dance performances, boliyan, Punjabi songs and much more, offering attendees an opportunity to enjoy Punjabi culture and traditions.
The event is for ladies only, while children under six will be admitted free. Tickets are priced at $10.
Organizers are inviting the community to come together and enjoy an afternoon filled with Punjabi music, dance, food and entertainment.

एडमंटन: पंजाबी संस्कृति, संगीत और मनोरंजन से भरपूर ‘मेला सावन दा’ का आयोजन आज, 9 अगस्त 2026, रविवार को PCAE Community Hall में किया जा रहा है। कार्यक्रम का आयोजन Asian Tribune और DJ Preet की ओर से किया जा रहा है।
मेला दोपहर 1 बजे से शाम 6 बजे तक चलेगा। कार्यक्रम में भांगड़ा, गिद्दा, डांस, बोलियां और पंजाबी गीतों समेत कई मनोरंजक प्रस्तुतियां देखने को मिलेंगी।
आयोजकों के अनुसार यह Ladies Only Event है, जबकि 6 साल से कम उम्र के बच्चों के लिए प्रवेश निःशुल्क रखा गया है। कार्यक्रम के टिकट की कीमत 10 डॉलर है।
मेले में पंजाबी संस्कृति और लोक परंपराओं की झलक के साथ परिवारों और महिलाओं के लिए मनोरंजन का खास इंतजाम किया गया है।
