An enthusiastic, red-and-white-clad crowd of at least 600 people swarmed central Edmonton on Saturday to mark the grand opening of the official Forever Canadian campaign headquarters on 117 Avenue.
The massive turnout signaled a major escalation in grassroots organizing as the province gears up for an upcoming autumn referendum on whether Alberta should remain part of Canada.
